The transition
There is ever be one thing at the core of every outsourcing relationship: trust. You have to know that the company responsible for attracting the people you need thoroughly understand you and your industry and are committed to delivering the highest quality service at all times. The transition to their service must be seamless. This consists of three stages.
The Briefing The outsourcing company must work hard to understand your, your business, your working practices and your objectives. Industry knowledge is another essential component. The outsourcer must understand how your recruitment strategy can succeed within a wider market context.
Working practices Partnership is such an over-used term it has become little more than a business cliché. Instead, look for those who talk about teamwork. They should swiftly become a dedicated resource within your office as committed to your success as any full time staff member.
Transparency Trust has to be built on openness. The outsourcing company should not simply be supplying performance metrics, they should be constantly analysing their own performance with you. They should be able to tell why an activity was successful or what can be done better in the future.
